Rental Housing Studies - Toronto CMA
In association with REALpac and other industry groups, Altus Helyar (click on the "Market Reports & News" tab) prepares detailed reports of the Toronto Census Metropolitan Area rental housing market in April and October of each year, that include:
- Building-by-building information
- Vacant and available apartment suites
- Data in the context of other competing supply (non-profit housing and condominiums)
- Grading of buildings and an examination of respective vacancy, availability and rental rates for each grade
- Segmentation of the Toronto CMA into 26 nodes and 3 districts to compare statistical data so that a ranking of nodes can be made
- Demographic information to relate critical elements of population character such as income and node average house prices to the rental rates
The surveys are available by subscription only. For more information on becoming a subscriber, please contact Sylvia Tsoukalas at (416) 221-1200.
